My Story
The Man Who Refused to Disappear
My real name is Spiridon Tsakonas. I was born in Greece — a country that has known both the heights of civilization and the depths of collapse. I have watched people I love lose everything: their livelihoods, their dignity, their sense of self. And I have faced the same losses in my own life.
I am a father. I am a husband. I am a man who has stood in darkness so complete that light seemed not merely distant, but fictional. And I am someone who discovered — through years of struggle, study, and sheer refusal to surrender — that darkness is never the final word.
I write under the name Cyrus Nash — a pen name chosen deliberately. Cyrus, the ancient king who freed the captive. Nash, from the old word for "ash" — what remains after the fire. What survives. What endures.
I created Light in the Dark Solutions in 2016 because I had accumulated enough experience — both personal and in working with others — to know that I could be genuinely useful to people at the exact moments when they need it most.
This is not a hobby. This is not a brand. This is a mission. Every person who comes through this door carries something irreplaceable — and my single purpose is to help them find it again.
